Patient Care Navigator Medical Oncology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Navigator to join our Medical Oncology team at Billings Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care services, promoting effective resource utilization, and assuming a leadership role with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Supports and models behaviors consistent with the mission and philosophy of Billings Clinic and department/service.
- Facilitates the coordination of patient care services to assure excellence in patient care and patient flow.
- Follows patient through the care continuum/experience, eliminating operational barriers to services.
- Works closely with other healthcare disciplines to ensure timely appointments, results reporting, financial need referrals, communication, patient care, and follow-up.
- Ensures follow-up on identified patient clinical and non-clinical care, facilitating communication and compliance to care plans.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing within 4 years of hire.
- Two (2) years clinical practice experience, 5 years of service line experience preferred.
- One (1) year demonstrated computer experience dealing with word processing and data management.
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
- Current Montana RN license or compact licensure and ability to obtain Montana license within 90 days of hire.
