About the Role

The Branch Director is a key leadership position at Canyon Home Care & Hospice, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and laws, including federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Oversee the completion, maintenance, and submission of required reports and records.
  • Maintain a strong liaison with the Governing Body, Professional Advisory Committee, staff members, and the community.
  • Develop and implement objectives, manage business affairs, and oversee the overall operation of the Agency.
  • Ensure the maintenance of personnel, financial, and administrative records, as well as all policies and procedures.
  • Employ qualified personnel, provide adequate staff education, supervision, and evaluations.
  • Designate a qualified staff member to act in the absence of the administrator.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Licensed physician, registered nurse, or holds an undergraduate degree with experience in health service administration and at least one year of supervisory experience in home care or a closely related health program.
  • Successful completion of or the ability to successfully complete any state required continuing education requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as knowledge of Agency policies and procedures.
