About the Role
The Branch Director is a key leadership position at Canyon Home Care & Hospice, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, standards, and laws, including federal, state, and local requirements.
- Oversee the completion, maintenance, and submission of required reports and records.
- Maintain a strong liaison with the Governing Body, Professional Advisory Committee, staff members, and the community.
- Develop and implement objectives, manage business affairs, and oversee the overall operation of the Agency.
- Ensure the maintenance of personnel, financial, and administrative records, as well as all policies and procedures.
- Employ qualified personnel, provide adequate staff education, supervision, and evaluations.
- Designate a qualified staff member to act in the absence of the administrator.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Licensed physician, registered nurse, or holds an undergraduate degree with experience in health service administration and at least one year of supervisory experience in home care or a closely related health program.
- Successful completion of or the ability to successfully complete any state required continuing education requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as knowledge of Agency policies and procedures.
