**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Worker Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Worker Specialist will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, completing work orders, and providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily work orders and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Respond to resident requests for repairs and maintain open lines of communication
  • Handle all tools and equipment with care and report any discrepancies to the Director
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours emergencies
  • Maintain current licenses and certifications as required by law
  • Follow established procedures for accessing apartments and ensure confidentiality
  • Perform repairs on minor issues such as clogged drains, leaky faucets, and patching holes
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Report safety concerns and hazards to the Director
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance meet company standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Follow infection control procedures and BBP practices as trained

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Language Skills: English
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Negative TB test and Drug Screen required; background check mandatory
  • Physical Demands:* Sit, stand, or bend for extended periods at a time; lift 25 lbs without assistance; grasp, turn, or hold objects varying in size and weight

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. Cascades of Tucson offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
