Position Overview:
Kent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated EPC Project Controls Manager/Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and management of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of project controls, scheduling, and financial management to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including critical path analysis and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delays.
- Financial Management:
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, including cost estimates and financial forecasts.
- Monitor expenditures and implement cost control measures.
- Analyze financial performance and report on trends and risks.
- Risk Assessment:
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Implement project control systems to track performance metrics.
- Generate regular status reports, highlighting key performance indicators and financial summaries.
- Present project updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Facilitate communication among project teams, clients, and contractors.
- Lead project meetings to discuss progress and address challenges.
- Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement:

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in EPC Project Controls, Planning, and Scheduling.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and other relevant project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets and schedules.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
