Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour

Work Schedule: Part-time, on an as-needed basis for significant events during weekends

Role Summary:

The primary function of this role is to serve as a visible deterrent against theft, altercations, and other inappropriate behaviors. Security personnel are expected to utilize their authoritative presence and verbal communication skills to discourage theft and manage patrons who may be causing disturbances or engaging in damaging behavior. Physical contact is strictly prohibited unless necessary for self-defense or the protection of others. Engaging in pursuits of individuals leaving the premises for any form of confrontation or theft is not permitted.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit a high level of situational awareness at all times
  • Project a professional demeanor while on duty, acting as a deterrent to crime
  • Follow DDCues Post Orders and General Instructions diligently
  • Report incidents promptly to both the client and DDCues Corporate Office
  • Maintain all required certifications with the New York Department of Licensing Agency, carrying certification card(s) or active Law Enforcement credentials while on duty
  • Dress in a tactical uniform that includes a clearly identifiable Security shirt, jacket, and/or hat to ensure visibility to clients, staff, and the public
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a New York State Guard license or active Law Enforcement credentials
  • Strong surveillance and observational skills
  • Proficient in report writing and documentation
