  • Reviewing and advising on engineering plans and applications to assist permit seekers.

  • Collaborating with public utility companies regarding facility relocations and right-of-way issues.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to project progress, expenditures, and change orders.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required. Candidates must possess a valid Civil Engineer registration from the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers.

Experience:
Applicants should have a minimum of two years of professional civil engineering experience, including one year in areas such as flood control design and construction, stormwater management, or related projects.

Skills and Knowledge:
Successful candidates will demonstrate a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, including:

  • Hydraulic design and analysis.
  • Topographic mapping and surveying techniques.
  • Construction methods and structural analysis.
