Electrical Maintenance Opportunity at TrinityRail

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at TrinityRail in Jonesboro, Arkansas. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and components
  • Determine causes of operating problems and implement corrective actions
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Wire and program electronics and control boxes with PLC and CNC programming
  • Read and troubleshoot PLC programming
  • Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components, parts, switch panels, etc.
  • May test new equipment and troubleshoot operation, making minor adjustments as needed
  • Maintain and complete all required records
  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • License preferred
  • Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs on production equipment
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and 3-phase equipment up to 600v
  • Ability to learn basic PLC or CNC programming
