Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated Extrusion Machine Technician for our PVC production facility. This role is under the supervision of the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous approach and a proactive mindset to manage machinery involved in pipe manufacturing. Emphasis will be placed on safety, product quality, and ongoing enhancement of processes.

Primary duties include:

  • Operating extrusion machinery
  • Conducting quality assurance inspections
  • Packaging finished products
  • Ensuring a safe working environment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, particularly in the plastics sector
  • Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts

Work Environment

  • Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy materials
