About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Safety Specialist to join our team at Actalent. As a Site Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and clients on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Create, evaluate, and administer safety programs to ensure compliance with government regulations and corporate policies.
  • Conduct Safety Inspections and Investigations: Inspect machinery, equipment, and working conditions on project sites, and investigate incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and Educate Employees: Provide field training and education to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor and Control Safety Standards: Monitor and control safety standards on project sites, and ensure that all employees and contractors are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
  • Develop and Maintain Safety Files: Develop and maintain project safety files, including incident reports, safety inspections, and training records.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters, and ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and comply with safety procedures.

  • Direct and Supervise Subordinates
  • Monitor and Control EHS Standards
  • Prepare, Maintain, and Retrieve Records, Reports, or Documents
  • Promote EHS Awareness
