Production Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Operator to join our team at Georgia-Pacific's Camas Mill in Camas, WA. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various equipment, ensuring efficient and safe production processes.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and Maintain Equipment: Learn and operate multiple operator functions to meet expected performance levels and standards.
- Follow Procedures: Adhere to operating procedures to meet product targets and specifications.
- Monitor and Troubleshoot: Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to optimize production and minimize downtime.
- Perform Asset Care: Perform basic asset care duties, including preventive maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of work areas.
- Collaborate with Team: Work collaboratively with the team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
- Operate Mobile Equipment: Operate and/or work around mobile equipment, such as forklifts, scissor lifts, trucks, and utility carts.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
- Perform Physical Demands: Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to 12 to 16 hours a day.
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Experience: 6 months or more experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, military, construction, production, warehouse, loading/unloading, fishing, or logging environment.
- Skills: Experience using a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions, basic mechanical maintenance and/or machine troubleshooting and equipment repair.
We offer a competitive starting wage of $23.72 per hour, plus a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid after 120 days. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, ADD, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, and may also include infertility assistance, paid parental leave, and adoption assistance.
