Job Overview

The Bioprocessing Solutions Engineering Specialist is essential in providing support to our life sciences clientele. This role involves ensuring the precision of bioprocessing schematics, aiding in the preparation of these drawings, and identifying vendor part numbers. You will work in close collaboration with sales personnel, internal teams, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Bioprocessing Solutions Manager in the creation and updating of drawings and revision documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Bioprocessing Solutions Manager, sales staff, and clients to pinpoint and execute process enhancements aimed at boosting production efficiency, equipment dependability, and overall operational performance.
  • Diagnose and actively support the resolution of client challenges in drug manufacturing workflows.
  • Contribute to tubing assembly by aiding in the preparation of quotations.
  • Identify and accurately document the appropriate supplier part numbers to ensure correct representation in the schematics.
  • Support management in identifying potential improvements in the tubing assembly process, encompassing revision control, quoting, and managing supplier components post customer sales order receipt.

Qualifications:

  • 3-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent background as a Bioprocessing Engineer (Single-use assemblies).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD drawing software is required.
  • Experience in a sterile, ISO 9001:2015 compliant environment is advantageous.
