Faculty Position in Pharmacology

The Department of Pharmacology at the University of Virginia invites applications for an open rank tenured/tenure-track faculty position. We seek outstanding scientists addressing fundamental questions in biomedical sciences with an interdisciplinary perspective and state-of-the-art approaches.

Research Focus

We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong track record of high-impact publications and a well-funded research program. Tenure status and rank of the position depend on qualifications.

Qualifications
  • A doctoral degree is required by the start date of the position.
  • Applicants must have completed a minimum of three years of postdoctoral training.
  • Demonstrated excellence in research with a strong potential of developing innovative research programs that can attract sustained extramural funding.
