Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Meat Cutter Specialist to join our team at LaGree's Food Stores.

This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality, fresh meat products for our customers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience cutting meat in retail grocery and be able to operate electric meat saws, grinders, and other equipment safely.

In this position, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle freight, organize coolers, and assist with ordering product. You will also maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cut, trim, chop, and grind meat products following best practices
  • Maintain a variety of high-quality, fresh product for customers
  • Handle freight, organize coolers, and assist with ordering product
  • Operate electric meat saws, grinders, and other equipment
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements

Requirements:

  • Prior experience cutting meat in retail grocery required
  • Able to lift, push, and pull product safely
  • Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen areas of the department
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
