Dishwashing Specialist

The Dishwashing Specialist is a crucial role within the Bella Vista Restaurant Group, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish room and equipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized dish room, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Clean and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods (up to 5 hours) and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrate knowledge of workplace safety procedures and ability to follow OSHA regulations.
• Multi-task oriented with excellent time management skills.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee occasionally lifts and carries tubs and cases weighing up to 25 pounds. The employee is exposed to hazards including cuts from knives, slipping, tripping, falls, and burns, as well as frequent exposure to smoke, steam, elevated temperatures, humidity, extreme cold, and frequent contact/immersion of hands in water, sanitation solutions, meat products, poultry products, seafood, and produce items.
