LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the growth strategy for product categories within the Americas region. As the Senior Category Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans that align with long-term objectives and penetration goals, ensuring success across retail and foodservice segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a forward-looking category growth strategy, focusing on key performance metrics and long-term goals.
  • Identify critical customer targets in both retail and foodservice, utilizing data-driven insights to craft category initiatives and innovation pipelines.
  • Build and refine customer-focused product propositions and marketing concepts aimed at boosting market share, customer engagement, and product penetration.
  • Lead the creation of a streamlined, effective portfolio by collaborating with internal departments.
  • Create comprehensive category playbooks for the Americas, ensuring alignment with global product and communication standards.
  • Work with the marketing communications team to ensure cohesive product messaging and branding across all markets and platforms.
  • Support local sales teams by executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive category growth.
  • Lead the development of new products and revamp existing ones, from conceptualization to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, R&D, Sales, and Manufacturing.
  • Manage business cases, forecasting, pricing, and P&L analysis to ensure financial alignment with category goals.
  • Work alongside channel marketing teams to achieve shared category objectives and ensure smooth roll-outs of initiatives.
  • Act as the Americas representative within the global marketing community, advocating for local market needs and sharing best practices globally.
  • Oversee A&P budgets related to category initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI measurement.
  • Support sales in planning and implementing category market research programs to enhance product availability and market presence.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration required, MBA preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5-7+ years in marketing, within the CPG industry (required).
  • Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies; experience with product development, category management, and market research.
  • Leadership: Strong cross-functional leadership abilities, with excellent communication and organizational skills- Managerial experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 per year, plus benefits including discretionary bonus, medical, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, PTO, and hybrid work schedule.
