Cardiac MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Cardiac MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures. This is an entry-level position that requires competence in performing basic MRI exams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and assist with MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
- Develop and maintain knowledge of MRI equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Provide excellent patient care and communication, addressing patient concerns and apprehensions
- Eligible for certification in MRI by the ARRT
- BLS certification
- Minimum experience: Demonstrated competence in MR imaging as obtained through clinical training
- Preferred experience: 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting
