Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a Cardiac MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and assisting with Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures. This is an entry-level position that requires competence in performing basic MRI exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and assist with MRI procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of MRI equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, addressing patient concerns and apprehensions
Requirements
  • Eligible for certification in MRI by the ARRT
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum experience: Demonstrated competence in MR imaging as obtained through clinical training
  • Preferred experience: 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital setting
