BIM Modeling Specialist

The role of the BIM Coordinator is essential for the success of EMCOR Government Services. This position entails overseeing the precision and quality of BIM modeling, coordination, and detailing under the guidance of the Project Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and disseminate foundational models, point cloud scans, and pertinent files.
- Develop Revit families tailored to project specifications.
- Execute tracing of point cloud scans to generate clashable models.
- Conduct modeling, coordination, and detailing as directed by the Project Lead.
- Prepare fabrication and installation spool drawings for both shop and field use.
- Administer and circulate coordinated digital documents among the project team.
- Deliver precise and high-quality models, drawings, and details within the established project timeline.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in modeling or detailing is preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction design drawings.
- Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and/or other comparable 3D modeling or CAD software.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu is advantageous.
- Competence in the Office 365 suite of applications.
- A High School diploma or GED is mandatory; an Associate's degree in drafting, design, or a related field is preferred.
- Effective communication skills in English are essential.
