Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Counselor to join our team at one of our cemetery locations. As a Sales Counselor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to families, guests, and community members, while utilizing our sales process to sell pre-need funeral products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Guide individuals and families through end-of-life memorial planning, utilizing sales presentations and additional tools provided by Everstory.
  • Provide individuals and families with options to best meet their unique needs, including touring the location, identifying plots, and advising on burial and entombment options.
  • Responsible for daily management of CRM and lead data base, including generating new leads via networking, online, and cold calling, as well as categorizing leads (hot, warm, cold).
  • Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships within the broader community and generate new leads.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle, as offsite appointments may occur.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience working in a CRM, preferably a lead management system.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
