Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager - Estimator to join our team at 2H Talent. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Download, review, and analyze plans and specifications for all project items
  • Request quotations for subcontractors, materials, bonds, and insurance
  • Conduct quantity take-off, risk assessment, and pricing for projects
  • Evaluate subcontractor and material quotes, pricing, and qualifications
  • Prepare bid documents, ensuring accurate and complete submissions
  • Conduct site visits and photo documentation
  • Review contracts, create new files using our construction software, and monitor project updates
  • Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure successful project execution
  • Develop and manage client relationships, interfacing with clients for proposal and project-related items
  • Maintain compliance with contract terms for quality, schedule, estimating, and profitability
  • Process change order requests
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure adherence to specifications and construction schedules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in General Construction, concrete, and PEMB estimating and project management
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
  • Well-rounded candidates with diverse heavy civil project experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, scheduling, email, and other software
  • Excellent communication, writing, speaking, and active listening skills
  • Knowledge of job site safety requirements and construction equipment operation
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking
  • A good work ethic and adherence to safe work practices
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
