Job Title: Senior Commercial Estimator

Introduction:

The Gallagher Search Group is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales and project management team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and other documentation.

Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to provide competitive bids that meet client requirements.

Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies during the estimation process.

Maintain a database of historical data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of estimates.

Communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers to gather cost information.

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and ensure timely submissions.

Track and report on project progress and adjust estimates as necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial estimation, particularly in HVAC.

Proficiency in estimation software and MS Office Suite.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC systems is a plus.
