We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures to patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures
  • Assess, treat, care, and evaluate patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities
  • Exercise sound judgment and develop clinical skills to provide input to and implement the patient's plan of care
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and care, and effective communication
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a two-year respiratory care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
  • RCP-Respiratory Care Practitioner certification
  • NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider certification (if required at the entity)
  • RRT-Registered Respiratory Therapist certification within 90 days
  • OR CRT-Certified Respiratory Therapist certification within 90 days
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience
