We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Good Samaritan Society. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
