Job Title: Ambulatory Oncology/Infusion PharmacistAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pharmacist to join our team at UCLA Health. As an Ambulatory Oncology/Infusion Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing medication management expertise to our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and other clinical staff
  • Verify orders and make clinical interventions
  • Oversee compounding in alignment with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations
  • Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wasted appropriately
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient medication therapy
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
  • California Pharmacy license
  • ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency or at least 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in oncology
  • Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred
  • Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred
  • EPIC/Beacon experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform age-specific and disease-specific pharmacokinetic calculations
