Project Healthcare Specialist

The Walsh Group is seeking a highly skilled Project Site Nurse to support our healthcare projects in Lexington, KY. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive health and wellness services to employees, ensuring their optimal performance and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the care of ill and injured workers, including return-to-work assessments and evaluations.
- Engage with site and regional medical resources to support clinical activities, following medical triage protocols and conducting virtual screenings.
- Conduct injury/illness assessments, administer medical screenings, and ensure compliance with OSHA 1904 and company health & safety standards.
Essential Functions:
- Administer occupational and environmental health and safety programs, consistent with company policies.
- Function as a subject matter expert on case management, including Worker's Compensation without lost time.
- Evaluate and treat all injuries and illnesses in an efficient and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) or Bachelors (BSN) preferred.
- Active, non-restricted state of Kentucky RN license.
- Adult CPR/FA/AED/BBP Certification and Instructor.
- Detailed knowledge of OSHA, BWC, and other federal regulations governing the workplace.
