We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our Inpatient Behavioral Health team at Dayton Children's Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide acute behavioral health services and care coordination to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans to address patients' behavioral health needs.
- Provide individual and family-based psychotherapy, group facilitation, and crisis intervention services.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in patient care planning and provide education and consultation to healthcare professionals and the community.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- 2-4 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and clinical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
- Experience working in an inpatient behavioral health setting.
