About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Tidelands Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient orders and ensure accuracy to avoid delays in patient care.
  • Provide excellent patient care by educating and preparing patients for procedures, utilizing effective communication and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Obtain and document accurate patient medical history to assist radiologists in interpretation.
  • Perform MRI procedures as required, utilizing complex tasks associated with the operation of MRI and related coils to obtain high-quality images.
  • Clean and maintain all imaging equipment, and may assist with mentoring and/or training students, new hires.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Radiologic Technology Associates degree program or completion of MRI technology certification program.
  • Minimum one (1) year MRI experience preferred.
  • ARRT (R) certification required, with ARRT (MR) certification required or registry eligible (if eligible must obtain MR certification within 24 months of hire or transfer date).
