Reliability Engineer

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will play a key role in promoting and advancing the Reliability program across the entire mill. This includes using equipment failure analyses to overcome repetitive maintenance and repair problems, implementing proactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance techniques to avoid and detect equipment failures, and supporting the Maintenance Reliability Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use equipment failure analyses to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment availability.
  • Implement proactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance techniques to avoid and detect equipment failures.
  • Support the Maintenance Reliability Program and collaborate with Maintenance and Operations teams.
  • Develop and implement effective reliability and maintenance improvements associated with practice changes, equipment redesign, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Provide input for Key Process Indicators (KPIs) detailing the results of the reliability programs activities.

Requirements:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pulp & paper.
