Nursing and Rehab Licensed Practical Nurse Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled RN Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Avante Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound care, restorative nursing, and long-term care.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage existing pressure ulcers, recommending treatment changes as needed.
  • Implement preventative interventions to prevent skin breakdown in immobile and inactive residents.
  • Direct and supervise restorative needs of residents, working with the Rehab Director and Director of Nursing to prevent decline and maintain the highest practicable level of functioning.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to residents.


Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license in good standing.
  • Previous experience in hospital, long-term care, and restorative or wound care settings.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • Previous supervisory experience or completion of an appropriate training program.
