Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Westminster Communities of Florida. As a key member of our Nursing Team, you will provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants and staff nurses.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement resident care based on physician orders and evaluate care to communicate with doctors for updates.
  • Assist with the evaluation of residents for medical needs/changes and assist with planning resident care based on physician orders.
  • Ensure that residents are receiving their medication based on doctor's orders and complete medication passes.
  • Maintain the medication cart and perform skin evaluations and skin treatment as required by skin treatment protocols.
  • Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, ambulating, toileting, and other resident needs.
Requirements:
  • Must be currently licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a supervisor is required.
  • Must be CPR Certified.
  • One year of long-term care experience is desirable, and med-surg, home health experience is helpful.
