Affordable Housing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Affordable Housing Manager to oversee the daily operations of our property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing personnel, waitlists, and leasing, as well as ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of project-based section 8 housing and experience working with One Site leasing and rents. You will be responsible for achieving financial goals and maintaining a positive reputation for the community.

Some essential functions of this role include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents, responding promptly to concerns and questions, and documenting resident requests for maintenance.
  • Maintaining tenant relations and ensuring that tenants understand their rights and responsibilities.
  • Processing move-ins, move-outs, certifications, recertifications, or internal transfers in accordance with federal/state/local requirements.
  • Maintaining waitlists in compliance with HUD rules and guidelines.
