Additionally, Delta Star offers extensive engineering, testing, maintenance services, and parts for any transformer manufacturer through our Field Service division, ensuring optimal performance of our customers' transformers and mobile units.

Position Details

Delta Star has an immediate opening for a Painter I.

Employment Type: Full Time, Night Shift, Hourly Position

We utilize a High Pressure, Low Volume Paint Spray System in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing all entry-level duties under supervision.
  • Control temperature, flow, and composition of paint materials; operate equipment as required.
  • Apply paint to various materials with guidance from experienced painters.
  • Prepare articles for painting, including dipping and loading/unloading from the paint line.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and chipping, under supervision.
  • Manage paint mixtures and maintain equipment cleanliness.
  • Document all necessary reports and paperwork accurately.
  • Utilize high-pressure cleaning equipment to maintain cleanliness of transformers.
  • Engage in training on the maintenance of painting equipment and personal protective gear.
  • Assist in training lower-level employees.
  • Ensure daily cleaning of paint guns and regular maintenance of the paint booth.
  • Fulfill additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
