Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care in a correctional setting. As an LPN, you will work under the clinical supervision of Registered Nurses to assess, plan, and implement individual treatment programs for patients in the health care unit and housing unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans in collaboration with Registered Nurses, physicians, and correctional officers
  • Administer medications and interventions as directed by providers
  • Document patient encounters, responses, and effectiveness of care
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including working and living areas and supplies
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted AZ State Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred
