Job Summary

Wexford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Mohave County Jail in Kingman, AZ. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our incarcerated patients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist in the assessment of the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients.
  • Implement medical plans through administering medications and interventions in accordance with provider instructions.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient response, effectiveness, complications, etc., and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
  • Assist in maintaining working and living areas and supplies in good order.
  • Serve as a member of a nursing care and treatment team and assist physicians as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted AZ State Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
