Overview

Roscoe Village Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for all.

Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to clients and their pets, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  • Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, handling client inquiries and routing calls to the appropriate staff member.
  • Schedule appointments and surgeries, ensuring accurate and timely communication with clients and staff.
  • Process payments and handle financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.
  • Support veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members in daily patient and client care, ensuring a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in veterinary software and other relevant systems.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures, with a passion for animal care and welfare.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm and composed under pressure.
