Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team at LCS. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including wet mopping, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and sweeping.
  • Conduct floor care activities, such as vacuuming, wet mopping, carpet spotting, stripping, and refinishing, buffing, and burnishing.
  • Operate carpet extraction and upholstery cleaning equipment.
  • Ensure waste removal and recycling are properly managed.
  • Manage supply and furniture inventory for the department.
  • Perform tasks in the order of priority set by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
