Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Patient Care Technician to join our team at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care by performing delegated basic patient care services related to common nursing functions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the PCT's skills/training and the needs of the Department.
  • Perform or assist with more advanced procedures based on one or more achieved specialty certifications.
  • Comply with all hospital policies/procedures and observe the State Board of Nursing rules for licensed personnel.
  • Assist with ongoing training and/or precepting of new and current employees as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Graduate/GED.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
