  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of analytical solutions with business objectives.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in analytics and data science, offering technical guidance to the team.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to enhance the team's overall capabilities.
  • Ensure the precision and reliability of analytical outputs through rigorous quality assurance and validation processes.
Qualifications

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field is required.
  • An advanced degree (master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Experience:
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or task lead role.
  • A proven history of managing and delivering complex analytical projects.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Python and Java, and/or experience with computational analysis tools like R and MATLAB.
  • Familiarity with data science libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Ability to create meaningful data visualizations and interactive dashboards that effectively communicate findings and their business implications.
  • Experience with visualization platforms like Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, RShiny, and a strong preference for Tableau expertise.
  • Working knowledge of databases and strong SQL skills are desired.
  • Preferred experience includes linking analytic and data visualization products to database connections.
  • Familiarity with data science methods related to data architecture, data cleaning, data and feature engineering, and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with unstructured text and natural language processing is preferred.
Communication and Leadership:
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization.
