About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at a leading healthcare facility in Midland, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing physics consultation to all Radiation Oncology personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced medical equipment, including the Varian 21iX Clinac, GE PET/CT, MOSAIQ ROIS, Eclipse, and RadCalc, to provide precise and effective treatment to patients.
  • Work alongside a team of board-certified radiation oncologists, medical physicists, dosimetrists, chief radiation therapists, and CT technicians to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Ensure accurate treatment planning and execution by utilizing various QA tools, such as Profiler2, MapCheck2, SNC Routine, and 3D scanning system.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical issues and improve treatment outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Physics
  • Board certification in Medical Physics (ABR)
  • At least 1 year of experience in Radiation Oncology
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
