Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Supervisor I to join our team at Tarzana Treatment Centers, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising counselors and case managers involved in direct patient care, providing crisis intervention support, and addressing patient grievances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in medical record reviews and utilization review activities
  • Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, and professional boundaries
  • Provide supervision to counseling staff, including interns, and conduct performance evaluations
  • Conduct in-service training on mental health topics and maintain proper documentation
  • Attend clinical and administrative committee meetings and participate in community events

Requirements:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or social science
  • Licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Science as an LCSW or MFT
  • Minimum of one year experience in evaluating and/or treating persons suffering from substance abuse and/or dual diagnosis
  • Prior supervisory experience
