About the Role

As a Blood Collection Staff/Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our blood donation centers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to donors and staff
  • Assisting with blood collection procedures and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborating with the team to maintain a welcoming and efficient environment
  • Driving Red Cross vehicles and setting up equipment at donation sites

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills
  • A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs, good manual dexterity, the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
Preferred Qualifications

Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.) and prior leadership experience are highly desirable.
