Job Title: Phlebotomist PRN

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist PRN to join our team at Baptist Health. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and body specimens from patients, transporting them to the laboratory, and performing various laboratory tests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collect blood and body specimens from patients using venipuncture, fingerstick, and heelstick methods
* Accurately identify and label specimens for laboratory testing
* Transport specimens to the laboratory for analysis
* Perform point-of-care tests and report results to healthcare professionals
* Maintain stock of collection trays and supplies

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy training program preferred
* Must be enrolled in post-secondary school and participate in the Baptist Health Mentoring program
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
* Must adhere to medical ethics and prioritize patient care and safety

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Certification in phlebotomy (NCA, ACA, ASPT, or ASCP) preferred
