Job Summary

Helix Human Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic support to young children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with youth, promoting a trauma-informed environment.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure individual treatment plans are met, and objectives are achieved.
  • Engage youth in daily activities, group work, and implement daily routines.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience working with children in a residential program preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required; training will be provided.
  • Current valid driver's license required.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
