KOSMOS is seeking a highly analytical and deadline-driven Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for compiling, interpreting, and reporting information on a variety of data types. Your core responsibilities will include identifying relevant insights and compiling analytical reports with observations and recommendations for process improvement. You will also rely on analytical, organizational, and investigative skills to take on data analysis projects. Additionally, you will organize, manipulate, and extract data in response to management requests. To be successful in this role, you will need to practice and recommend data analytic solutions and integrate storytelling into strong data visualization deliverables. You will also help to develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators for each department and across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA in Accounting, finance, or economics, and 2-6 years of relevant on-the-job experience. You will also need to have experience building or maintaining system integrations, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a high attention to detail. Excellent analytical skills, ability to research and make efficient use of resources to achieve effective business results, and proven interdepartmental collaborative skills are also required. Finally, you will need to have excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, as well as proven initiative and self-starter and time management skills.
