Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans, and providing direct therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Individualized Education Plans: Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide one-on-one and small group therapy sessions to students.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
  • Parent Support: Educate and support parents and guardians on strategies to promote their child's communication development.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology and special education.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
