Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore - Brighton. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a critical role in providing top-notch disaster recovery services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform water, fire, and smoke damage restoration and mold remediation repairs as directed by supervisors, including water extraction, pack-out of contents, removal and disposal of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, and light construction and demolition.
  • Set up and monitor air movers and/or dehumidifiers to ensure efficient drying and moisture control.
  • Conduct other cleaning duties, such as construction cleaning, fire/smoke/odor cleaning, mold remediation, carpet and upholstery cleaning, when part of mitigation or restoration jobs.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or customer issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Complete assigned job tasks according to company processes while maintaining quality control on each job.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a commitment to reporting to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Must be able to move up to 70 pounds frequently, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
