POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at ADDMAN Engineering LLC, you will play a pivotal role in the realm of aerospace and additive manufacturing technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance the manufacturing processes within a rapidly advancing manufacturing facility. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining our AS9100 certification standards, ensuring that our operations reflect our commitment to excellence.

In this capacity, you will assist in daily production scheduling to achieve our monthly objectives. Collaboration with engineering and sales teams will be essential to evaluate the manufacturing requirements of incoming projects, providing timely insights on cost and feasibility regarding inspection limits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster and enhance a safe working environment on the shop floor and adjacent areas.
  • Transform customer-provided engineering documentation into effective manufacturing routings and visual aids.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to determine manufacturing needs for new opportunities and assist in estimating internal and external manufacturing costs.
  • Support both internal and external audits related to manufacturing and engineering processes.
  • Ensure all job deliverables are completed in alignment with the manufacturing schedule.
  • Collaborate with NC programming, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure product compliance with customer and internal specifications throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Engage actively in team problem-solving, process enhancement, and technical decision-making.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at refining our manufacturing workflows.
  • Provide mentorship and serve as a technical resource within the organization.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

ITAR COMPLIANCE:

To comply with U.S. export control regulations, applicants must be eligible for any necessary authorizations from the U.S. Government.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Dedication to a safety-first culture.
  • Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Unigraphics NX, or Catia.
  • Experience with manufacturing and CNC machining processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in an engineering, quality, or technical capacity.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities to meet customer expectations.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate on cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Proficient in standard office software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in a professional setting that includes additive manufacturing, traditional manufacturing, and office environments. The role frequently utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and photocopiers.
