Job Title: IT Manager

CURE International Children's Hospitals is seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology and a passion for operational excellence.

Job Summary:

The IT Manager will be responsible for the oversight, planning, installation, management, and cybersecurity of IT systems for use by CURE International staff. This includes determining the IT needs of various departments and teams, researching and implementing solutions, and ensuring the use of all IT systems is secure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide oversight and support of IT systems, applications, networks, and cybersecurity solutions.
  2. Coordinate with department heads to ensure IT systems and solutions meet required needs.
  3. Oversee, monitor, and audit IT systems security to ensure the use of cybersecurity best practices.
  4. Research new business technologies and IT software to enhance the organization's IT systems.
  5. Implement new software applications and computer technologies that support organizational goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Science or related field.
  2. Minimum of eight years experience in information technology systems support, project coordination, and system evaluation, selection, and implementation.
  3. Minimum of three years experience supervising information technology staff.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Extensive knowledge of IT systems support, including current operating systems, hardware, business applications, and IT policies and standards.
  2. Strong, current cybersecurity best practices knowledge.
  3. Proven ability to implement security risk mitigation and remediation initiatives.

Working Conditions:

This is an in-office onsite position, working from the corporate office located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA.
