Automotive Body Repair Specialist - Disassembly/Reassembly

QUALIFICATIONS:

$1000 Signing Bonus

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform removal of sheet metal, glass, and aesthetic components.
  • R&R Suspension Elements.
  • Careful Disassembly of all damaged components for Blue Printing.
General Duties: Follow directives from the Production Manager / Estimator.
  • Log time spent on each task daily using a time sheet.
  • Keep the workspace in a clean and safe condition.
  • Report any potentially hazardous situations or damaged tools/equipment to the A.B.S.M. or Production Manager immediately.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in personal work area efficiency and overall operations, participating in company-sponsored meetings and training programs.
  • Collaborate with parts personnel by promptly verifying received parts for accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Notify A.B.S.M of any hidden or overlooked damage not reflected in an estimate or repair order.
  • Treat customer vehicles with care, ensuring that cloths, tools, and equipment remain clean to prevent undue soiling or damage.
  • Maintain a courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, directing any issues to the A.B.S.M or Production Manager.
  • Foster a positive work environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Qualifications: Ability to read and understand instructions and information. Proficient knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged vehicle body parts. Valid driver's license required. Must possess personal tools. Capability to interpret vendor catalogs. Must uphold all O.E.M Manufacturer, ICAR Training standards. Two years of Body Shop Experience or Collision Tech School Training is advantageous. Positive attitude is essential.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This role is physically demanding. Expect to stand for six to eight hours per shift. Capable of lifting parts and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds. Exposure to noise, vibration, dust, paint, exhaust & paint fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials is anticipated.
