Job Description

ForceSource is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of servicing and repairing heavy equipment, with a focus on diesel knowledge and troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostics of skid loaders, excavators, and medium to heavy duty equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in engine rebuild and welding. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and repairing heavy equipment
  • Troubleshooting, repair, and diagnostics of skid loaders, excavators, and medium to heavy duty equipment
  • Engine rebuild and welding
  • Maintenance of a safe working environment
  • Following all safety rules and regulations
  • Working collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality work

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, hydrostat, engines, electrical, fuel systems, and/or charging systems
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (CDL and forklift certification preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
