Position Overview: Java Software Engineer at B264 DB Global Technology, Inc.

Location: Remote

Role Summary:

The development center at B264 DB Global Technology, Inc. presents a variety of stimulating Java and UI positions. For server-side development, we are in search of candidates with strong core Java capabilities, experience in Spring, and an understanding of microservices is advantageous. Full stack positions necessitate proficiency in React or Angular, along with a solid foundation in UX design and micro frontends. We also have opportunities for those interested in Kotlin and Scala, aiming to enhance their Java Virtual Machine (JVM) expertise. We prioritize engineers dedicated to high-quality software development utilizing CI/CD methodologies and practices such as behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD).

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize appropriate design patterns, algorithms, and Java frameworks to create scalable and resilient applications
  • Engage in an agile development lifecycle with a focus on achieving business objectives
  • Develop automation solutions to facilitate continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) processes
  • Contribute to the broader engineering community by sharing designs, concepts, and experiences related to Java frameworks

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in Java development or other JVM languages
  • Preferable experience with Spring (particularly Spring Boot) and REST, microservices, or micro frontend development
  • Familiarity with React/Angular or another JavaScript framework, along with TDD and BDD methodologies
  • Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks such as Jenkins and build tools like Gradle or Maven
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms, and optional skills in Kotlin or Scala
